Bakerz is one of the cities of Razavi Khorasan province in northeastern Iran. This city is the city center of Bakerz
. This city has become more important in the past, and its name has been used throughout the Taibad area
. Bakhrz from the north to Torbat Jam, south to Khaf, from the east to Taibad and from west to Torbat Heydarieh .The mountain range extends along the northwest south-east. Bakhrz Mountain (the highest peak, 755, 1 m) is located in the Bakhrens area

. During the time of Nasir al-Din Shah, the main population of Bakhrz was formed by Iranians who were called "Bakhrzayi",
 and there were tribes like thousands, Timurid and Afghans.
 Today, the language of Bakhrz and Farsi are similar to dialects in Persian language and the religion of their people is Islam (Sunni and Shi'a).
